This small kit from Genia, France, comprising ideal components for sharpening hoof knives. First is a 6mm diameter cone-shape stone for use in an electric drill. Second there is a 10cm-long half-round medium-grit stone. The half-round stone is ideal for all the long edges of a hoof knife, and the cone stone is the best tool yet for sharpening inside the hook. Both stones are supplied in a handy plastic tube (pictured).
This stone has an oval shape with wedge-shaped edges. The oval shape is useful for sharpening the curved blade of a hoofknife, and the edges for sharpening the hook part. Dimension 125mmL x 30mmW x 6mm thick. Medium grit.
